1 Killed In Lansdale Fire Friday, 4 Families Displaced
Flames engulfed several local homes.
LANSDALE, PA — One person was killed in a devastating fire in Lansdale Friday morning, police have confirmed.
The incident occurred at about 6:16 a.m. on the 800 block of Andover Road.
Officers first arriving found heavy fire coming from two attached homes, with reports of victims trapped inside.

All escaped save for one, authorities said.
Crews were able to bring the blaze under control by 7:44 a.m.

Significant damage was caused to at least four homes. The dispalced families are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The victim's identity has not yet been confirmed.
Fairmount Fire Company remains on the scene with multiple fire companies, VMSC Emergency Medical Services, Lansdale Electric, and PECO crews.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
