New Middletown Township Assistant Manager Appointed

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Two months after appointing a new township manager, officials now have his second-in-command in place.

Township officials have announced the hiring of Isaac E. Kessler as the assistant township manager and township engineer.

With his background as township’s engineer, Kessler has already worked closely with staff and leadership on numerous projects and initiatives throughout the community.

"Isaac brings extensive knowledge and experience to his new position, along with an invaluable familiarity with Middletown and the community we serve," officials said. "We are confident he will be a tremendous asset to our organization."

In mid-July, the township hired a new manager.

Christopher Hoffman — who started in August — served as the township manager for Lower Moreland Township in Montgomery County, a position he held since 2013.
