Oxford Rehab & Healthcare in Bucks County Shines a Spotlight on American Heart Month

"Go Red" Raises Awareness for Women's Cardiac Health

LANGHORNE, Pa. (Feb. 12, 2026)Oxford Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center celebrated the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Day with its staff and residents dressed in red. The Bucks County skilled nursing facility has an established cardiac rehabilitation specialty care program – CardioPro – and proudly holds the Association’s Heart Failure Certified Skilled Nursing Center designation.

Go Red is the start of American Heart Month, the Association’s nationwide February observance that spotlights cardiovascular disease and the need for more lifesavers. The initiative supports increased awareness about cardiac health for women.

Led by leading cardiologist Dr. Frank Ammaturo, Oxford’s cardiac rehab program is designed to assist individuals suffering from challenging or life-threatening heart conditions, including those recovering from a cardiac event or surgical procedure, and those at risk for cardiovascular disease. Earned by less than 1% of skilled nursing centers nationwide, to date, the American Heart Association skilled nursing certification recognizes hospitals and healthcare facilities that provide high-quality care for patients with heart failure.
