Pennsbury Prepares For New School Year

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — The Pennsbury School District is preparing to welcome back nearly 10,000 students for the new school year with orientation set for Aug. 31.

Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith sent a notice to the school community about plans for the 2026-2027 school year.

Orientation is set for Aug. 31 for students in K, 6, and 9th grades. The new school year kicks off on Sept. 1.

Smith offered some back-to-school planning and scheduling information:

• Orientation for students in grades kindergarten, 6th, and 9th is on Aug. 31.
• All students return on Sept. 1.
• Open House for all elementary schools is on August 31 from 2:00-3:00 pm.
• The 2026-27 calendar is available by clicking on this link.
• As is our practice, teacher assignments, bus routes, and class schedules will be available on the third Thursday of August (Aug. 20). Additional details will be shared in mid-August. Any information accessed prior to this date may not be accurate.
