LLBean Opens First Delco Store Soon, Right After Competitor Closes Nearby Shop
The 20K-square-foot store is coming to a Delco shopping center just months after their bankrupt competitor closed a store in town.
GLEN MILLS, PA — When one outdoors store closes, another one opens in this Delaware County locale.
L.L.Bean will open a store at the Concordville Town Centre in Glen Mills on May 8 — months after Eddie Bauer went bankrupt and closed all locations, including one in a nearby Glen Mills shopping center.
Eddie Bauer and L.L.Bean have long been titans of the outdoor gear an apparel market. But after more than a century of the brands known for long-lasting products duking it out, L.L.Bean continues to steadily open stores.
