Woman Stole Money From Media Little League: DA

MEDIA, PA — A woman stole money from Media Little League by altering one of the organization's checks, according to the Delaware County District Attorney's Office.

Robin Massing, 57, was charged Tuesday with felony forgery, theft and related offenses. Massing is a homeless resident in the Media area and does not have any known affiliation with Media Little League, officials said.

The investigation began when the league's upper management contacted the District Attorney's Office about possible check fraud.

In May 2025, three checks were mailed on the Little League's behalf through a mailbox at Baltimore Avenue and Providence Road in Upper Providence.

One of them was a $600 payment to a tournament in New Jersey. But it was deposited by mobile deposit for $7,200 to Philadelphia Federal Credit Union this past February, authorities said. The name, endorsement and signature on the check were altered.

A month later, a Fulton Bank representative contacted Media Little League to verify a suspicious payment. This check had the same number as the February check, but the name and amount had been changed again.

Fulton Bank opened an investigation. The bank identified Massing after reviewing surveillance footage from its branch in Southampton, Bucks County.

Last year, Massing was arrested after authorities say she brought a forged check to a TD Bank in Willistown Township, Chester County. A Willistown Police sergeant was called in to review the Fulton Bank footage, and he identified Massing as the suspect.

Authorities did not say how Massing obtained any of the Little League checks.

Massing was charged with forgery, bad checks, theft, and receiving stolen property. An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday, and she will be arraigned once she's taken into custody.
