Rosemarie Talarico Damico

Rosemarie Talarico Damico, 81, of Moon, died Jan. 14 at St. Clair Memorial Hospital. She was born March 25, 1930, in Coraopolis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Armand Damico, and was the mother of Karen Williams and Robert Damico and a grandmother of three.

Damico was a member of  in Moon and served as an aide at the parish’s child-care center.

Visitation was earlier this week at Copeland’s Funeral Home in Moon and was followed by Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church. Entombment was at Resurrection Cemetery.

Ona L. Gatts Baird

Ona L. Gatts Baird, 74, of Crescent, died Jan. 13. Born Jan. 4, 1938, in Pittsburgh, she was the wife of Glenn Baird and mother of Sharon Baird Auth, Sandra Baird and the late Samuel Baird. She was a grandmother of two.

Baird was a member of the and sang in the choir. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the International Association of Administrative Professionals. She is remembered as an avid hostess, traveler and photographer.

Visitation was earlier this month at Copeland’s Funeral Home and Sharon Community Presbyterian Church. Family members recommend that memorial contributions be made to the church.
