Cherish the Kittens Fund Drive

A unique cat sanctuary is roaring like a lion for “hopeless” kittens … and inviting the public to join the pride.

From March 17th - May 15th, donations to Tabby’s Place will be doubled, up to $200,000, providing intensive care and nurture for frail kittens. The “Cherish the Kittens Fund Drive” will help build a state-of-the-art Kitten Nursery for orphans, newborns, and other kittens too frail to save elsewhere.

The Ringoes, NJ shelter has over 22 years of experience rescuing cats from hopeless situations, with a special mission to those whose rare or delicate needs have closed all other doors of mercy.

The new Kitten Nursery will be a hub of hope in the 12,000 square foot sanctuary, complete with incubators for orphans and specialized housing for nursing mothers and babies.

Donations will spell H-O-P-E for at-risk newborns like Scrabble. Motherless and wounded, the day-old kitten required more than most shelters can provide. Tabby’s Place welcomed the orphan, providing nursing care through the night to save his life.

As Scrabble’s initial crisis eased, it became clear the tiny tabby would need a lifetime of tenderness. In addition to being blind, Scrabble has a rare condition that prevents him from growing.

At seven months of age, he remains under two pounds.

But at Tabby’s Place, this unique kitten is cherished just the way he is.

With the public’s help, the Tabby’s Place Kitten Nursery will be a beacon of hope for kittens who would otherwise be lost. If big hearts Cherish the Kittens, the littlest “lions” will thrive.
