Music Mountain Theatre Volunteer Program

Volunteers are welcomed and considered an essential part of the Music Mountain Theatre team. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and willing to interact with patrons, staff and other volunteers in a courteous and friendly manner. Must be able to keep calm during emergencies and be able to accept authority and follow directions in a professional manner. Volunteers must be physically able to stand to take tickets at the door or take orders in concessions. There are several different volunteer positions available with Music Mountain Theatre: As an Usher volunteers provide excellent customer service and aid to our patrons upon their arrival. Ticket Ushers direct patrons to the Box Office for tickets, scan tickets at theatre entrance doors and check to ensure it is the correct date and time. Seating Ushers direct and show patrons to their seats and hand out programs. Ushers sit at the back of the theatre during the performance and throughout the show, ushers should continuously monitor the audience for any issues and let management know. They open the doors at intermission and at the end of the performance.and help get the theatre ready for the next performance. Concession volunteers help sell concessions before the show and during intermission
