Phillips' Mill To Premiere "Nauset Light" As Showcase Production
The play follows the early morning, emotionally charged reunion of Eleanor Brindle and her estranged daughter Caitlyn.

Phillips’ Mill has announced the New Hope launch of "Nauset Light," an original contemporary drama written by local playwright Rick Goodwin, as this year’s “Premiere Showcase” production.
The play follows the early morning, emotionally charged reunion of Eleanor Brindle and her estranged daughter Caitlyn.

The performance explores the complex relationship between a
mother and daughter that builds into "a stunningly raw examination of what makes us human, and the choices that define our lives. This gripping performance will be sure to evoke a range of emotions so common to the human condition."
Rick Goodwin is an accomplished playwright who has written more than 15 plays with appearances locally and in New York. Director Nancy Ridgeway is a seasoned director and producer of plays and musicals in and around Bucks County and Philadelphia.

The cast of Nancy Vander Zwan and Morgan Petronis are the perfect actors to tell this story. Nancy and Morgan have extensive experience in a variety of different roles and productions enabling them to bring great depth and understanding to these characters. The creative team also includes stage set by Steve Young.
The production will run for a strictly limited, three-performance engagement at the historic Phillips’ Mill in New Hope. Performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 24 and 25, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, July 26 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 on sale at phillipsmill.org. Mill members receive a 10 percent discount.
