Ava is a fantastic person as well as a student. Ava has completed both the Bronze and Silver Awards for Girl Scouts; the former was to repaint and revitalize a room at the Women’s Place in Doylestown, while the latter was to coordinate and execute a week-long mini day camp experience for younger Girl Scouts. She has been cheering with the Rock Starz and now for Council Rock North High School, and keeps her grades on the High Honor Roll.

Her dedication to academics is self-motivated, and she has been acting as the “big sister” to her older sibling, Gwyneth. Gwyneth has severe nonverbal autism and behaviors that could be embarrassing for teens, but Ava helps supervise her sister and often prepares her food and takes her for walks. She is such a kind, sweet soul and has all the qualities of a stellar student, but also is kind, empathetic and cares deeply for her sister with special needs.

Ava surprised me by obtaining Student of the Month for March 2026 for the junior class, and proud does not begin to describe how exceptional she is.

What three words best describe your star student?

Tenacious, empathetic, smart.
