Black Bear Sighting Reported In Bucks Co.
This is the fourth bear sighting in Bucks County in the past few weeks, but the first one in Lower Bucks.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — A black bear sighting has been confirmed in Northampton Township, police reported on Thursday morning.
Police said the bear was seen in the area of Middle Holland Road and Saint Leonards Road in the Holland section of the township.
"If you see it, please do not approach it and contact police immediately. The Pennsylvania Game Commission has been notified," police said in a Facebook posting.

This is the fourth bear sighting in Bucks County in the past few weeks, but the first one in Lower Bucks County.
The three previous sightings were reported in Central Bucks.

On May 29, a bear was reported in New Britain Township. A few days earlier, one was spotted in Plumstead Township. The first sighting was reported on May 22 in Solebury Township.
Anyone who does encounter a bear should remember these safety tips:
- Never feed or approach bears
- Remain calm, make loud noises, and avoid eye contact
- Never run from a bear
