North Hills July 4 Fireworks Guide

Here's what's happening fireworks-wise in and around Pittsburgh on Independence Day.

PITTSBURGH, PA — There will be no shortage of places to view fireworks around Pittsburgh as America celebrates its 250th anniversary on July 4.

Here's a look at several popular places to watch them:

  • City of Pittsburgh: The city's largest Independence Day celebration kicks off at 4 p.m. on July in Downtown, Point State Park, the North Shore and Mount Washington. The fireworks display begin at 9:35 p.m.

  • Dormont :Expect to see fireworks at the Dormont Pool at 9:30 p.m.
  • Upper St. Clair: At 9:30 p.m., expect to see fireworks from Fairview Park in South Fayette. If parking becomes limited there, the display also can be witnessed from Boyce Mayview Park in Upper St. Clair.
