For The 2nd Time, Eagles All Time Great Brandon Graham Announces Retirement

PHILADELPHIA, PA — All time Philadelphia Eagles great Brandon Graham announced his retirement on Wednesday, days ahead of the Eagles 2026-27 season opener. Graham broke the news himself at Jefferson Health's "Breakfast with the Birds" rally.

It's the second retirement announcement for Graham, who originally hung up his cleats in March 2025 but decided on a comeback last October.

Graham, 38, was one of just four players, along with Jake Elliott, Lane Johnson, and Rick Lovato, who was on both the 2018 and 2025 Super Bowl championship teams.

"I'm officially done, ya'll hearing it here from me first," Graham said.

In his final out-of-retirement season last year, Graham played in 9 games, notching three sacks and eight tackles.

"I'm still gonna be around," Graham added Wednesday. "Still giving wisdom, still helping the guys."

Graham also expressed confidence the current Birds squad could "return to the promised land" and win another Super Bowl.

Graham was the 3th overall pick in 2010 and never looked back, establishing himself as a foundational piece from the final years of Andy Reid's tenure and through the Chip Kelly and Pat Shurmur years. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2020 and All Pro in 2016 and 2022.
