Man Killed In Crash On City Ave. In Philadelphia: Police
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
PHILADELPHIA — A man is dead after his vehicle struck a tree Sunday night on City Avenue in West Philadelphia, police said.
The crash happened at the intersection with 66th Street, near the Philadelphia-Lower Merion border.
A man was driving northbound on 66th Street at around 10:40 p.m., when his 2023 Hyundai Kona hit a tree at the City Avenue intersection, police said.

Minutes later, the 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released his identity as of this writing.
The vehicle sustained heavy front-end and driver's-side damage.
