Man Killed, Woman Critical In Separate Highway Hit-And-Runs In Philly: Police
The incidents unfolded hours apart, leaving both victims lying on the roadway.
PHILADELPHIA — Two hit-and-run incidents unfolded hours apart in Philadelphia, killing a man and leaving a woman lying in the roadway in critical condition, authorities said.
State Police are trying to identify the striking drivers in both collisions and the man who was killed overnight on Interstate 76.

Woman Struck By Vehicle After Crash
Troopers were dispatched around 10:35 p.m. for a crash and a woman lying in the roadway on Interstate 95 South. The victim was found in the middle-right lane, near the exit to Walt Whitman Bridge and Packer Avenue.

Police discovered that two separate crashes happened. First, the woman lost control of her red Chrysler 300C, hitting the median multiple times before her car broke down in the left lane.
The victim exited her car when an oncoming vehicle struck her and continued down I-95 South.
She was brought to Jefferson Hospital and is currently in critical condition.
Unidentified Man Killed
At around 2:45 a.m. Thursday, a man was reported lying in the right lane on I-76 East, near the Spring Garden exit.
The victim was struck by another vehicle, possibly a Kia, authorities said. His remains were brought to the Medical Examiner's Office.
The victim remains unidentified. Police described him as a Black man, age 18-25.
