SEPTA To Add Trains For Eagles Season Opener

The Eagles host the Washington Commanders this Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.

PHILADELPHIA — SEPTA will add extra Broad Street Line (B) service Sunday as the Philadelphia Eagles face the Washington Commanders in their season opener at Lincoln Financial Field.

The game kicks off at 4:25 p.m.

In addition to regularly scheduled B trains, SEPTA will operate "Sports Express" before the game.

The extra trains will leave Fern Rock Transit Center every 10 minutes from 2 p.m. until about 3:30 p.m., according to SEPTA.

The B provides direct service to the South Philadelphia Sports Complex at NRG Station.

Fans can connect to the B from dozens of SEPTA bus routes. Free transfers are also available from the L (Market-Frankford Line), and T trolley routes at 15th Street/City Hall.

The line is also within walking distance of Center City Regional Rail stations and can be accessed from the PATCO High Speed Line for fans traveling from South Jersey.
