
Phoenixville Public Library will host “Teens, Tech & Gambling: A Presentation for Parents”, on Monday, August 3, 6:30 PM, at the Library This free talk will be presented by Hannah Mellott, Prevention Specialist with Compass Mark.In today’s digital world, technology and gambling are more accessible than ever, making it important for parents to understand how these activities can impact teen behavior and development. This virtual presentation will explore how technology and gambling are designed to keep users engaged and why teens may be especially vulnerable to developing unhealthy habits. Parents will learn common warning signs to watch for, including changes in mood, behavior, spending habits, and screen use.
