Lane Closure At Bridge Street, Route 29 Continues To Snarl Traffic

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A lane will remain closed at the intersection of Bridge Street and Starr Street (Route 29) in Phoenixville this week as crucial road improvement work continues.

Work will go on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.

The work has already led to backups and delays at the typically overcrowded artery.

Officials said that "appropriate traffic control measures" would continue to be used.

Drivers should consider alternate routes whenever possible.
