Phoenixville Police Now Hiring Officers, Jobs Starting At $120K

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville Police are again hiring for new officers.

The borough currently has a complement of 31 full time officers. It's not clear how many additional officers they are looking to fire.

Starting salary is $120,430.54 with full benefits, a pension plan, and tuition reimbursement.

The borough is seeking officers of all kinds, including bike units, detectives, SWAT members, crisis negotiators, truck enforcement, in-house instructors, and range positions.

Candidates must pass a physical agility test, run a mile in under 10 minutes, scale a five-foot wall, and pass a written exam.

Other aspects of the application process including an oral examination, a background investigation, polygraph, a medical examination, and a psychological examination.
