A legendary singer and a legendary band are hitting the road together and will be stopping in Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two legendary musical acts from the 1970s and 1980s will be touring together this summer and they will be making a stop in Pittsburgh.

Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire , both of which are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, will play PPG Paints Arena on June 30 as part of the 26-city "Sing a Song All Night Long Tour."

Richie was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022, dominated the charts in the late 1970s and 1980s with his popularity rivaled only by Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Whitney Houston. His record six Grammy nominations for Song of the Year is an achievement only matched by Paul McCartney.
