Legendary Band Expands Tour, Will Make Pittsburgh Appearance

PITTSBURGH, PA —Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famers Rush announced Monday that they adding four dates to their ongoing Fifty Something tour - and one of them will be in Pittsburgh.

The band will celebrate a half-century of Rush music and honor the late drummer Neil Peart on Nov. 15 at PPG Paints Arena.

“When we initially booked this tour we didn’t know how well we would hold up to the rigors of the road - so we played it safe with lots of days off to recover - but life is nothing if not surprising and we’re doing fine and having a blast - so why not try to hit a few more of the cities that have always treated us so well,” surviving members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson said in a joint statement.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Presale tickets are available starting Tuesday at 10 a.m.
