Legendary Band Making Tour Stop In Pittsburgh

A storied band that has been around for nearly four decades will make a Pittsburgh appearance this year. Get the details here.

PITTSBURGH, PA — One of the seminal bands of the 1990s will be touring this fall and one of the stops will be in Pittsburgh.

Smashing Pumpkins will perform on Oct. 6 at PPG Paints Arena.

The "Rats In A Cage Tour" will feature the band playing two sets. One will celebrate the recent 30th anniversary of their classic 1995 album "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness"; the other will feature other hits from the band's nearly 40-year history, deep cuts and fan favorites.

Tickets will be available starting with Citi and Verizon presales beginning on Tuesday, May 19 at 10 a.m. local. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on May 21 at smashingpumpkins.com.
