New Pittsburgh Concert Venue Reveals Opening Acts
You might be surprised at who will be performing at Pittsburgh's new concert hall debuting later this year.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pittsburgh native will headline the first show at the city's newest concert venue opening later this year.
Wiz Khalifa will perform on Oct. 2 at Citizens Live at the Wylie in the Lower Hill District on a portion of the former Civic Arena site.
The new venue, which will be operated by Live Nation, can hold as many as 4,000 people.

“We’re thrilled to begin announcing the first shows coming to Citizens Live at the Wylie,” Tom Loudermilk, Live Nation’s Pittsburgh market president, said in a statement.
“This is a special venue that will deliver unforgettable live music. It will bring an incredible mix of artists to the Lower Hill District, including Pittsburgh icons and artists who have never headlined here before.”

The initial lineup at the venue includes musical and comedy acts:
- Oct. 2: Wiz Khalifa
- Oct. 3: Styx
- Oct. 6: Two Door Cinema Club
- Oct. 7: Freya Skye
- Oct. 8: Matt Mathews
- Oct. 9: Chelsea Handler
- Oct. 16: Boyz II Men
- Oct. 20: Tedeschi Trucks Band
- Oct. 27: The Living Tombstone
- Oct. 31: Aries Spears
- Nov. 2: GloRilla
- Nov. 6: Sting
- Nov. 15: Wyatt Flores
- Dec. 2: Stephen Wilson Jr.
- Dec. 3: Sabaton
- Jan. 16: Slappers N Bangers vs. Union
