Pittsburgh-Area School Cited By State For Rodent Droppings
A recent inspection found that the school had "too many rodent droppings to count."
FAYETTE COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Food Safety says a Pittsburgh-area school has a rodent problem.
The Robert W. Clark Elementary School in the Laurel Highlands School District in Uniontown was ruled out of compliance with state regulations following an inspection on Friday.
The inspection revealed that there were too many to count mouse droppings throughout the school, including in classrooms.

Fresh droppings were found in the school kitchen along the floor edges and on shelving units.
In the food storage area, fresh pellets were found on food containers.

Some products that were impacted by the rodents, including cereal and granola, had to be discarded.
