Pittsburgh's Independence Day Celebration Nationally Recognized
When it comes to cities holding 4th of July festivities across America, Pittsburgh does very well according to USA Today.
Pittsburgh, PA –Pittsburgh’s Independence Day has been named the top event in the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards “Best 4th of July Celebration”.
Winners were announced Wednesday, with Pittsburgh’s Independence Day Celebration topping a list that includes events from St. Louis, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. The top ten winners can be viewed at https://10best.usatoday.com/awards/best-4th-of-july-celebration/.
City officials said on Wednesday that Pittsburgh will have its largest celebration yet on Saturday July 4 in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
