Whitemarsh Asks Residents to Move Trick-or-Treating to Friday

From Whitemarsh Township:

In response to the excessive damage throughout Whitemarsh Township from Hurricane Sandy leaving over 3,000 residents still without power, the Whitemarsh Township Board of Supervisors are strongly encouraging residents to Trick-Or-Treat on Friday, November 2, 2012.

Families with children are invited to stop by the Township Parks & Recreation Building (4021 Joshua Road) on Friday, November 2 from 5 pm to 7 pm where members of the Township Board of Supervisors will be handing out candy to Trick-or-Treaters.

Conshohocken Borough has told Patch that Halloween will not be moved from Wednesday night in that community. Plymouth Township manager Karen Weiss told Patch that Plymouth will also keep trick-or-treating on Wednesday night, after finding no reason to postpone it.
