On the night of May 20, the three were hanging out together in Jeffers' bedroom on the 400 block of West Street. Police said that they were passing around the loaded weapon, a Glock 43X. That's when Bailey, who was on the bed with Jeffers, pointed the gun at Jeffers and it went off, according to officials.
Sahad, seated in a nearby chair, said "What did you do?" according to the criminal complaint.
The firearm in Sahad's possession was reported stolen in Philadelphia in Dec. 2025.
Bail for Bailey was set at $50,000 and for Sahad at $20,000. Both were released and ordered to have no contact with each other or witnesses.
A preliminary hearing for both is set for June 9 before Magisterial District Judge Edward Kropp.
