New Segment Of Schuylkill River Trail Complete Near Route 422

LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — A new segment of the Schuylkill River Trail has been completed in Montgomery County, connecting a portion of the trail to Route 422.

The connector runs between 422 and Industrial Highway in Lower Pottsgrove Township.

The new construction makes it more seamless for bikers, runners, and walkers utilizing the trail in the Pottstown and Lower Pottsgrove areas.

Officials said a formal ribbon cutting event will be held Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. Details will be provided in the coming days.
