Raptor Jawns! Birds of Prey Saturday, September 12, 2026 11am-12pm The pavilion behind the library, Winsor Rm if weather FREE EVENT! Raptor Jawns was founded by Courtney Douds, a Master Falconer with over twenty years of experience working with birds of prey. Prepare to be awestruck as Raptor Jawns brings the majestic world of birds of prey to life! Get an up close and personal introduction to two remarkable feathered guests: a Red-Tailed Hawk and an Eastern Screech Owl. Get a close look at these powerful birds and learn about their roles in the ecosystem, their hunting techniques, and the unique behaviors and adaptations of each. This is an adult program, but children may attend along with their families and caregivers. |
