Property owners must clear a 2-foot-wide sidewalk path within 24 hours after the snow emergency ends. Citations will be issued for those who do not clear sidewalks.
When shoveling, plowing, or snow blowing, do not push snow into the street.
Additionally, residents are encouraged to clear snow around nearby fire hydrants with a 3-foot path and clearance.
Residents should also consider moving cars into driveways or parking lots to allow plow crews to safely and efficiently clear roads.
