District officials said Bryan's work at both the middle and elementary school levels has allowed her to build relationships with students, families and staff while gaining experience across the district.

Before coming to Radnor, Bryan worked for the Downingtown Area School District as supervisor of special education beginning in 2013. There, she oversaw regular and special education programs and staff and served as the district's Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and Extended School Year coordinator.

Bryan previously spent 13 years in the West Chester Area School District as a special education teacher and department chair.

"Throughout her career, Dr. Bryan has demonstrated a strong commitment to students, families and educators," Superintendent Dr. Kenneth E. Batchelor said in a statement. "Her breadth of experience in special education, instructional leadership and elementary school administration will be a tremendous asset to the Radnor Elementary School community."

Radnor Elementary is one of three elementary schools in the district, which educates about 3,600 students across five schools.
