Local access will be maintained during the construction, according to PennDOT. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.
PennDOT said Rockwell Radnor, LLC will complete the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
For drivers looking to monitor traffic conditions on major roadways, PennDOT pointed to its 511PA service at www.511PA.com. The free service provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,200 traffic cameras, according to the agency.
PennDOT said 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
