Wheels Of Wayne Car Show Set For April 26

WAYNE, PA — The annual Wheels of Wayne car show is all set for April 26, and car owners who want to show off their rides can sign up now.

The 12th annual Wheels of Wayne will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. April 26 at North Wayne and West Wayne avenues. The event is free to attend, with extra fees for food and drinks.

Those who wish to participate in the car show can register online here.

Over the years, Wheels of Wayne has evolved into a tradition featuring a family-friendly atmosphere with a display of local cars, trucks, and motorcycles, activities, local businesses and organizations, entertainment, and food, contests to find the best pulled pork and best pizza.

Both food and non-food vendors can register to participate online here. Hard copy registration forms are available online here. Completed forms and payment must be returned to Radnor Township Recreation, 301 Iven Ave. Wayne, PA 19087.

Judges are needed to evaluate the lineup of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Additionally, organizers are looking for judges interested in helping choose the best pulled pork or best pizza. Those interested should contact Tammy Cohen, Director of Parks & Recreation, at tcohen@radnor.org or 610-688-5600, extension 141.

The event will close North Wayne Avenue between Lancaster Avenue and West Avenue from 7 am. to 7 p.m. A portion of West Avenue will be closed, with limited access, during those same hours. Parking will be prohibited in these areas during the closure. Vehicles parked there will be towed.

Volunteers are needed for the following aspects of the event:

• Event management and security at footprint borders.
• Table set-up.
• Placement of signage and event equipment.
• Event sponsor and vendor greeter.
• Table management and distribution of publications and other items.
• Vehicle placement and registration.
• Distribution of materials and programs.
• Assistance with children at vehicles and activity stations.
• Assistance with parking.

Best of Show Event Presenting Sponsor — $5,000

• Sponsorship activation announcement to highlight the partnership.
• Presenting sponsor of the event with name and/or logo appearing at the top of event promotional materials for one full year.
