Congress, State House Races Set For Tredyffrin, Easttown: See Who's Running

Residents will vote for governor, House of Representatives and more in November. Here are the candidates set to appear on local ballots.

TREDYFFRIN, PA — With the primaries over, the candidate fields have been set for November's general elections.

Voters in Tredyffrin and Easttown will be among millions of Pennsylvanians deciding on a governor and State House representatives this fall. Meanwhile, midterm elections across the nation will shape the U.S. House of Representatives.

Most primaries on Tredyffrin and Easttown residents' ballots were uncontested. But the general election, which is Nov. 3, will be a different matter.

GOVERNOR, LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

  • Josh Shapiro*, Austin Davis* (Democratic Party)
  • Stacy Garrity, Jason Richey (Republican Party)

Of note: Richey defeated John Ventre in the Republican primary for lieutenant governor. Both governor races, and the Democratic primary for lieutenant governor, were uncontested.

U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: PENNSYLVANIA'S 6TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

  • Chrissy Houlahan* (D)
  • Marty Young (R)

Of note: Houlahan has been elected to the seat four times, first in 2018. The district has also voted blue in all statewide races since that time.

Republicans have held majorities in the House and Senate throughout President Donald Trump's second term.

PENNSYLVANIA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, 157TH DISTRICT

  • Melissa Shusterman* (D)
  • Justin J. Pak (R)

Of note: Shusterman has held the seat since 2019.

The Democratic Party holds the majority in the State House of Representatives, while the GOP has a State Senate majority.
