Easttown Road Closing 3 Days For Sewer Work
Crews will be lining the sewer along a portion of Chester Road for three days, forcing the road to close to regular traffic, officials said.
EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — An Easttown Township road is closing for a few days due to sewer work, officials said.
According to the township, crews will be lining the sewer this week along a portion of Chester Road.
The work will be done from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Monday, weather permitting.

Chester Road will be closed to regular traffic from South Fairfield Road to South Waterloo Road. Residents and local traffic will have access to the road, as needed, officials said.
Additionally, one lane on South Waterloo Road will be closed at the Chester Road intersection.

The project contractor is Mr. Rehab, and the Township Engineer, Carroll Engineering, will have an inspector present.
All lining work is trenchless.
Residents will be notified by the on-site inspector when the section of sewer to which they are connected is being lined and asked to limit water usage.
All lateral connections will be reinstated once the liner is cured and before the completion of work each day.
