Hey, McDonalds - $3 for a scrambled egg?

I don't go to my favorite McDonalds Restaurant on 260 W. Swedesford Rd. (near Gateway Shopping Center) everyday like some but I go enough to notice price changes. This latest increase crossed a pricing red-line for me.

I usually order the same thing each time: 2 x scrambled eggs; large iced tea. For the second time his year, the franchise owner of this McDonalds has raised the price of my "breakfast kit" from (incl. tax): $4.53 to $6.33 to $8.87.

I can't speak to the prices of other items or locations but one daily diner told me they have already cut back on what they order.
