NEW Attention and Executive Function Coaching Program - Available at Growth Opportunity Center
Helping youth, teens, and adults build skills for focus, organization, time management, planning, and follow‑through.

Growth Opportunity Center (“GOC”), a long‑standing nonprofit mental health organization serving Bucks County and the Greater Philadelphia region, has launched a new Attention & Executive Function Coaching Program designed to help youth, teens, and adults build the everyday systems, habits, and strategies that support focus, time management, planning, organization, and follow‑through.
Executive functioning challenges affect thousands of families across the region. Many people struggle with getting started on tasks, staying organized, managing time, shifting between responsibilities, or handling the emotional stress that comes with feeling overwhelmed. These challenges can impact school performance, workplace success, and daily life at home. GOC’s new program was created to offer practical, real‑life support for people who want tools that actually work in their day‑to‑day routines.
The program offers individual coaching, small‑group coaching, and one‑time 3‑hour workshops, making it accessible for people seeking personalized support, community connection, or a structured reset. Coaching is available in person or via telehealth, giving participants flexibility to choose the format that best fits their schedule, comfort level, or location. All coaching is action‑oriented and skills‑based, helping participants strengthen the tools that support school, work, home life, and personal goals. Sessions focus on building sustainable systems: breaking down tasks, creating routines that stick, improving time awareness, organizing materials, and developing strategies to manage overwhelm.

“Executive function skills shape how we move through the world — organizing, planning, starting tasks, shifting gears, and managing emotions,” said Judy Morrissey, Executive Director at Growth Opportunity Center. “So many people feel like they’re working twice as hard just to keep up. This program gives them a place to learn practical tools, feel understood, and build momentum in a way that finally feels doable.”
Unlike therapy, coaching is forward‑focused and collaborative. It’s designed for individuals who want concrete strategies for task initiation, time management, emotional regulation, and daily organization. The program can complement existing mental health services or stand alone for people seeking structured support. Both in‑person and telehealth options allow participants to engage in a way that feels accessible and sustainable.

“We built this program to be accessible, and genuinely useful,” Morrissey added. “People don’t need more judgment or complicated systems — they need support that meets them where they are. Our coaches help them anchor, build confidence, and take the next step without feeling alone in the process.”
Program Highlights:
• Individual Coaching: Personalized strategies and one‑on‑one support
• Small‑Group Coaching: Community, shared problem‑solving, and peer accountability
• 3‑Hour Workshops: A fast, energizing reset with take‑home tools
