Southampton Days Begin: What To Know

The annual event in Upper Southampton Township starts Monday and wraps up on Saturday with Fourth of July festivities.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The week leading up to the Fourth of July weekend is one that residents from the township and the region circle on their calendars every year.

Southampton Days gears up on Monday and runs through the Fourth of July holiday on Saturday to commemorate the America 250 festivities.

For Andy Pickford, chairman of the Southampton Days Committee, the event is circled on his calendar for a lot more than one week.

"Our all-volunteer organization meets year-round to put on this annual event each year," Pickard told Patch recently.

The six-night fair at 1351 Second Street Pike is now in its 54th year of operation, with the highlights on the Fourth of July that include a parade in the morning, a fair in the evening, and fireworks later at night.
