Yanni was fired last October and replaced by Joanna Wexler, who was hired in April. She was given a five-year contract, which begins July 1, and will be paid an annual salary of $255,000 a year.
Yanni wasn't the only schools superintendent listed in the data who is no longer leading their school district.
Longtime Bensalem Schools Superintendent Samuel Lee resigned in the wake of the district's "severe financial crisis."
A total of 207 superintendents around Pennsylvania make more than $200,000 per year, including seven who make more than $300,000 annually, according to the data.
The list also includes assistant superintendents and other top school administrators.
The data below is for the 2025-26 school year, according to a "snapshot" by the state taken on Oct. 1, 2025. The education department said the list may not reflect personnel changes that have occurred since that date.
The Morrisville Borough School District data was not listed in the report. Former Schools Superintendent Andrew Doster left the district in January 2025. He was earning an annual salary of $170,000.
