State Rep. Brian Munroe announced the expansion plan on Thursday after DART funding was extended.

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA – DART service is coming to Warminster.
State Rep. Brian Munroe announced on Thursday that the Doylestown Area Regional Transit, known locally as the DART, will soon be available in the township.
Munroe and State Rep. Tim Brennan joined representatives from Bucks County Transit and local officials to announce the continuation of funding for the DART and the long-awaited expansion of the program into Warminster.

“As many of my constituents know, I have been advocating for DART’s expansion into Warminster for several years now,” said Munroe. “I am thrilled to announce that DART is officially expanding its service, and now Warminster residents can enjoy safe, reliable, and accessible public transportation at the nominal cost of only one dollar — or nothing if you’re over the age of 65.”

Since taking office as state representative in 2022, Munroe said he has considered the program’s expansion into Warminster a top priority.
The DART program, which started in 2010, provides public transportation to business and government centers in Doylestown Borough, the Route 611 corridor in Warrington, and westward to New Britain and Chalfont along Route 202 for a $1 fee and free for seniors over the age of 65.
“This investment will have a meaningful impact by providing seniors, workers, and members of the disability community with greater access to jobs, medical appointments, shopping, and other essential services," said Jim Raymond, CEO of Bucks County Transport, which operates the DART.
State Rep. Brian Munroe represents Pennsylvania's 144th House District, which includes Warminster Township and Warrington Township.
