High School Fight, Domestic Assault: Warminster Crimes
The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter for criminal incidents in March.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department has reported its blotter of criminal incidents for March.
These are the criminal incidents:
- Officers were dispatched to William Tennent High School for a report of a fight in the boys' restroom during an event that was held after school. Three male juveniles who were suspended were at the school for the event. The fight ensued, and all three, a 15-year-old, a 16-year-old, and a 17-year-old, were all cited for Defiant Trespass.
- Police were dispatched to Kohl's for a report of a Retail Theft. The suspect had left the area, and a description of the actor and his vehicle was broadcast via Bucks County Radio. The 46-year-old man was arrested and processed. The man was charged with Retail Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, and Altered, Forged or Counterfeit Documents and Plates.
- Officers responded to Roberts Road for a report of a domestic assault. The woman had thrown a glass vase and hit a man in the head. The man had cuts on his face and head from the shattered glass. The 36-year-old woman was taken into custody. The woman was arraigned before Judge Wagner, and bail was set at $50,000 unsecured. The woman was charged with Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
- While on routine patrol, an officer observed a vehicle swerving, straddling the traffic lane, and other traffic violations on Johnsville Boulevard. When the officer got the driver to stop, she said she had not been drinking. When the officer asked the 42-year-old woman to submit to Field Sobriety Tests, she refused. The woman was placed under arrest and transported back to headquarters, and asked to submit to chemical testing which she refused. The woman will be charged with Driving Under the Influence, Traffic Control Signals, and Roadways Laned for Traffic.
- On routine patrol, an officer observed a man walking near Tidal Wave Car Wash, who was having difficulty maintaining his balance. When the officer stopped the man, he smelled of alcohol and advised that he had been drinking with friends. The officer took him into custody and transported him back to headquarters. When asked to submit to a Breathalyzer, the 39-year-old man refused. The man stated he had no one to call to pick him up. The man was cited for Public Drunkenness and transported back to Tidal Wave Car Wash.
- On routine patrol, a police officer saw a man at County Line and York roads that they were familiar with. The officer was aware of a warrant and confirmed with dispatch that the warrant was still active. Upon telling the 29-year-old man that he was under arrest for an active warrant, the man took off on foot. Officers pursued the man on foot as he was running out in traffic. He tried to hide himself under a vehicle. The man was caught, handcuffed, and taken to Bucks County Prison. The man will be charged with Evading Police, Resisting Arrest, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
- Police officers were dispatched to police and Fire Credit Union for a report of a disorderly person. When officers arrived, they were met by the bank manager, who stated that the 48-year-old woman had been sent an official notice that she was not allowed on the bank property because of this type of behavior. Officers determined that there was a warrant for the woman for a parole violation. The woman will be charged with Defiant Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct. The woman was arraigned before Judge O'Neill, and bail was set at 10 percent of $10,000 unsecured. The woman was transported to Bucks County Prison.
