Keys Flushed Down Toilet Damages Business: Warminster Crimes
The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for May.
WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for May.
These are the criminal incidents:
- Officers were dispatched to the Glen at Bucks for a report of a domestic between the caller's ex-wife and girlfriend. The ex-wife had gained entry to the apartment by one of the children letting her in. Once inside the apartment, the ex-wife began to get in the girlfriend's face. The ex-wife advised that maybe they should take the argument outside. The caller advised the two women were arguing outside. The 36-year-old woman will be charged with Defiant Trespass and Harassment via the mail.
- Officers responded to Walsh's Tavern for a report of an intoxicated person throwing items at patrons that were trying to help him. The man was observed stumbling around the parking lot. When officers asked the man for PA state identification, he showed them a medical card. The 38-year-old man was given a courtesy transport to his home. He will be cited by mail for Public Drunkenness.
- An officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle on Park Avenue approaching County Line Road and witnessed several traffic violations. The officer initiated a traffic stop. The officer asked the driver for his Driver's License and Insurance cards. The driver was slurring his words, and when asked to exit the vehicle, the driver had difficulty walking to the back of his vehicle. The driver agreed to a field sobriety test, and after the test was explained, the driver refused the test. The officer determined that the driver was unable to operate a vehicle safely. The man also refused to submit to a blood draw. In a search of the vehicle, bottles of Michelob Ultra were found. The 24-year-old man was placed under arrest and transported to headquarters to be processed. The man was released to his wife. The man will be charged with Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Open Container, Driving on roadways Laned for traffic and Driving at Safe Speed.
- An officer on regular patrol noticed a vehicle that was driving with its parking lights on, the vehicle had crossed over the yellow line numerous times. The officer activated emergency lights and the vehicle pulled into Altomonte's Shopping Center on York Road. The officer approached the vehicle and explained why he was stopping him. The driver refused Field Sobriety Test and a Portable Breathalyzer test. The 55-year-old driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The man was placed under arrest and transport back to headquarters. The man agreed to a blood draw. The male will be charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs or Alcohol, Roadway Laned for Traffic and Periods Requiring Lighted Lamps. Charges pending while waiting for lab results.
- Officers were dispatched to Wawa on Street Road for an intoxicated man. The man was standing by his truck that was double parked in front of the store. The man advised he couldn't find his keys. He was slurring his speech and unsteady on his feet. The 63-year-old man was given a courtesy transport to his girlfriend's house. The man was cited for Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct. The following day the man returned at the Wawa to again look for his keys and remove his truck. It was determined that the man had flushed his keys down a toilet causing damage to Wawa property. The man was transported to his residence in Southampton.
Officers were dispatched to Tompkins Street in Warminster Heights for a report of an intoxicated driver. A vehicle was parked on a grassy area, which is prohibited in Warminster Heights. The man spoke to police and advised that he was not driving. A witness stated he was driving and his wife confirmed that as well. The 69-year-old man was taken into custody and transported to headquarters to be processed. In a search of his vehicle, open containers of alcohol, a small amount of marijuana and a pipe for smoking marijuana were found. The man refused a blood draw. He will be charged with Driving under the Influence of drugs or alcohol, Open Container, Trespass by Motor Vehicle, Small amount of Marijuana for Personal use and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He will also be charged as a Habitual Offender.
