700 Without Power In LMT, Morrisville, Falls
According to PECO, the outages were mainly due to trees being knocked down onto power lines.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — About 700 residents in Lower Makefield, Morrisville and Falls were without power Thursday morning, mainly due to trees falling on power lines.
PECO's outage map Thursday showed outages scattered throughout that area, hours after strong storms blew through.
In a Facebook post, state Sen. Steve Santarsiero quoted PECO officials saying crews had been sent to all of the impacted areas to clear roads and repair power lines. The majority of residents should have power restored by 11 p.m. Thursday, the senator wrote.

The area was under a severe thunderstorm watch Wednesday night, with storms producing gusty winds, heavy rain and frequent lightning. And more of the same could be on the way.
