Cocaine, Marijuana Drug Busts, Football Ticket Scam: Lower Makefield Crimes

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week, including numerous drug busts in which cocaine and marijuana were confiscated. There was also a football ticket scam.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD — 400 block of Lenape Lane, reported at 1:02 p.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $740.33.

DRUG ARREST — Route 332 and Stony Hill Road, reported at 11:01 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of Oxycodone and marijuana. The 51-year-old male driver from Philadelphia was arrested for possession of Oxycodone, while the 49-year-old male passenger from Philadelphia was cited for disorderly conduct.

IDENTITY THEFT — 1300 block of Brentwood Road, reported at 12:04 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) used their passport to pick up a cell phone that they purchased.

WANTED PERSON — 1700 block of Dobry Road, reported at 11:22 p.m. Police received a tip for a wanted person. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 28-year-old male driver from Morrisville. He was wanted by Bucks County for Failure To Appear. He was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was taken into police custody.

Jan. 17

FRAUD — Unit block of Beechwood Lane, reported at 9:41 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) used their PayPal account to purchase tickets for a San Francisco 49ers game.

WANTED PERSON — Oxford Valley Road and Mill Road, reported at 10:25 a.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A records check revealed the 55-year-old male driver was wanted out of Philadelphia. He was taken into police custody.

DRUG ARREST — Oxford Valley Road and Route 1, reported at 4:32 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of marijuana. The 19-year-old male passenger from Philadelphia was taken into police custody. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jan. 16

DRUG ARREST — Oxford Valley Road and Route 1, reported at 2:31 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. Further investigation led to the discovery of cocaine. The 54-year-old male driver from Trenton, N.J., was taken into police custody. He was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and related charges.
