Looks like you might be able to give him that this year. The first look at the Father's Day Weekend forecast in Eastern Pennsylvania is favorable. As of Tuesday, the National Weather Service is calling for sunshine both days with little chance of rain.
In fact the entire week looks pretty good, with just a few chances of storms, according to the National Weather Service.

You only need to look out your window Tuesday to see the skies are clear and the sun is out. On Wednesday, there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. On Thursday, the sunshine returns and will stay that way through the weekend, according to the extended forecast from the National Weather Service.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 76. South wind 5 to 9 mph.
Tonight: A slight chance of showers after 2am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 60. South wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8pm, then a slight chance of showers between 8pm and midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 65. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Northwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
