Flood Watch Issued For Lower Bucks County
Heavy rain is expected in the region Sunday into Monday, the National Weather Service said.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A flood watch for Lower Bucks County has been issued and will remain in place through Monday.
The National Weather Service of Mount Holly, N.J. said the flood watch will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday and remain in effect through Monday.
The National Weather Service said the flood watch comes ahead of an expected Coastal Storm that will arrive Sunday evening.

The entire region may see widespread rainfall between 1.5 and 3 inches—Urban and small stream flooding along with minor river flooding possible.
The area can also see wind gusts between 30-40 mph resulting in tree limbs down and and down wires.

The National Weather Service said the heaviest rain will be from Sunday night into Monday morning.
Lower Makefield Township Police posted the flood watch alert. In mid-July, flash flooding hit the township hard and claimed the lives of seven people in Upper Makefield Township.
