Lower Makefield Township Dog Park To Open In June
The new Lower Makefield Dog Park, which will be accessible to both residents and non-residents, will have a soft opening on June 12.

A soft opening for Lower Makefield Township's Dog Park is scheduled for June 12. The 3.5-acre dog park will be located at Heacock and Covington roads and will be open to residents and non-residents.
The park will have separate sections for small and large dogs, as well as a transitional area. It will be open weekdays from 7 a.m. to sunset and weekends from 8 a.m. to sunset, according to the park website.

A membership to the park will be required. The fee is $35 a year per dog for Lower Makefield residents and $50 for non-residents. Additional dogs are $15 each.
Interested dog owners can register by clicking here and their key fobs will begin working on June 12.

An orientation class, which is free, is required to become a member of the LMT Dog Park. Click here to schedule an orientation class. All dogs must also be licensed and vaccinated.
