FALLSINGTON, PA —There are no threats against any Pennsbury School District schools a police investigation concluded, Schools Superintendent Thomas Smith said.

In a letter updating parents about an alleged threat made against three schools Thursday, Smith stated that a Lower Makefield Township Police investigation determined that no threat was made against any Pennsbury school.

"At this time, there is no reason to believe that any of the schools in the Pennsbury School District are a target," Smith said.

Smith had sent a letter to parents Thursday saying police had an individual in custody. The letter stated that the individual was overheard at a local store making "non-specific" threats against Pennsbury High School, Charles Boehm Middle School, and Village Park Elementary School.

In his update, Smith said that someone reported the comments to the police to ensure they were fully investigated.
