Road Paving Project Underway In Lower Makefield

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The township's summer road paving and milling project is underway.

Officials said that milling and paving operations are starting in several areas throughout the township this week into next week.

This is the following schedule:

• Thursday — Mill 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆, Concrete 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝘂𝗻
• Friday — Pave 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆, Mill 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝘂𝗻, Concrete 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲, Drainage 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲
• Monday 7/20: Pave 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝘂𝗻, Mill 𝗦 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, Concrete 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲, Drainage 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁
• Tuesday 7/21: Pave 𝗦 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗥 Base Replacement 𝗦 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, Concrete 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲
• Wednesday 7/22: Pave 𝗦 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 (𝗶𝗳 𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆), Concrete 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲
• Thursday 7/23: Concrete 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲
• Friday 7/24: Concrete 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁

Township officials said that traffic will be maintained, and access to homes will remain available; however, delays are expected.

No parking will be permitted within the active construction zone.

Officials are asking residents to remove all vehicles off the roadway between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. to avoid possible towing.
